A Bazel Bard

I have been very sick while writing this article. Not really because of BazelCon, but because it’s flu season in my district and I have a toddler attending daycare. So it’s just natural that I started to sneeze and cough as BazelCon approached. Attending BazelCon was fun. Going home with a stuffy nose, a sore throat, and, some days, an empty stomach… not as much. I lost my voice, my kid missed her dad, and here we are.

But I regret nothing. BazelCon 26 was perfect. The talks were highly technical, more than in any prior year. The hallway track was energetic with vibrant conversation. The venue was smaller than last year’s in Atlanta, which seemed to improve the experience since it was so easy to bump into folks I know.
